Here is an idea using a dresser as your footboard. Of course, it would have to be stained and not painted. There are some dressers taller than the one in the picture that would be a barrier to seeing the bed from the hall or living room. I noticed your TV hanging in midair with nothing under it. Not sure if you live in an area where an electric fireplace would be useful but it would look nice to have something on the wall under the TV. Good luck!

Another idea for your bedroom to consider.....

I'd suggest something like this with the curtains all around for privacy. Your bed is in the right location. Since the space is so roomy, you might try a standing screen to form a 'foyer' as one enters the room. Put a settee on the bed side of it and a small console table on the door side. It will serve as decor and as a visual barrier when the door is opened. In this pic two have been used - one as headboard and the other to block a view.

It needs a reading chair and table. Think of your room in zones. You have your sleeping zone. You need a chair to read a book or relax. Think of your favorite hotel. A free standing lamp or table lamp and a nice comfortable chez lounge or compy wing chair and foot stool
