We are renovating our 1912 farm house, and have discovered that it is literally a house of cards. none of the walls stack other than the exterior walls and 1 kitchen wall that runs from the basement to the top of the second floor. I was wondering if anyone ever heard of this before. ei the one center basement wall comes to the first story, then the kitchen wall sets 6 inches to the kitchen side of the basement wall, and the second story wall for the bedroom sets 6 inches off the basement the other side. Thank you
