What about bringing in a soft warm gray for the sofas? There are many indoor/outdoor fabrics that don't have that rough texture like outdoor fabrics from years past - very durable for kids. Add in some turquoise, coral, yellow, black and white in the accessories and pillows. Paint the TV cabinet in a distressed finish (many online instructions available). Can't really see the ottoman but a burlap sounds like it would work for the rustic farmhouse look you want. Maybe add some rustic nailhead to the ottoman? Remove the scroll from above the TV (don't replace it with anything). The draperies can be hung higher and the fabric could be a linen-y type, unlined, neutral color. Add some pops of color in your accessories and art, and the art on the mantle should be one large piece that makes a statement. These suggestions are based on not knowing your budget and assuming you'd like to keep most of the times in the room and repurpose them (if replacing items, the TV cabinet is too low for the space). The lamp could be chunkier as well. Keep in mind: texture texture texture! It adds interest and variety to any room. Good luck!
