Need help with my kitchen

My kitchen is 8 by 15 and includes three openings that can't be removed - one is the entrance into the kitchen from the hall, the other one is at the far end and is the entrance to the 4 season porch, and the third entrance is in the middle of one of the walls to the dining room. I want to remove the wall between the dining room and kitchen to open up the space. I can't afford a total gut job with all new cabinets. I do need a new stove so was thinking of a slide in with a peninsula - widening the opening to the dining room to 3 feet and then a small peninsula on the other end. The difficulty is the dinging room is two feet shorter than the kitchen. So that corner is awkward b.c it is two feet longer than the dining room. Anyone see any potential with this kitchen? The cabinets are original to the house and were refaced 20 years ago. The cabinets are in decent shape. Help :)

I am not sure I understand your layout. When I look at the first picture, I see and entrance with the louvered door and at the back I see the dishwasher. Then when I look at the third picture, I see the dishwasher but it seems that the room where you took the picture is different from the dining room. I don't understand how come we see the same background in the same angle but the foreground is different.

Did you get a new dining set? The pictures would make sense if that were the case. If I'm understanding correctly, you want to remove the top portion of the wall where the stove is as well as widen the opening. Is this correct? There's always potential and with your project, your budget is your limiting factor, as with 99% of everyone else. If money is tight, you could consider refacing or painting the cabinets and replacing the top. Refacing doesn't necessarily cost less than cabinets but could save you labor costs. Depends on your area. But before you knock any walls down, check if they're load bearing! You never know, especially in older homes. Without seeing the space or really what you're wanting to know, I hope this helps.

Sorry some photos were when my parents lived here and some when we moved in - i attached photos I took today. The wall that i want to remove is not load bearing - checked that already. The issue is with the awkward corner which is two feet longer in the kitchen. At first i didn't want an island or peninsula with a range in it but i loved the electrolux slide in with a double oven and induction top. So I would forego all new cabinets - paint the ones that are there and get new ones for an island or peninsula. To have seating I think I will need to move my dining room table as a banquette against the wall in the dining room. Oh yes I will be replacing the kitchen floor with a light colored cork flooring and will carry that to the 4 season porch to make it a breakfast/sunroom. thanks!
