This window seat is located in a small spare bedroom that we are turning into an office. I want to hang some curtains and get a cushion and pillows to make it a cozy nook. However, the space is awkward for putting up curtains. If I try to hang curtains on the interior of the window seat (against the window), there is no space above the window for a curtain rod. If I hang the curtains outside of the window seat, there is no room on the right side of the window seat because it intersects with the wall. Any ideas? Would it look dumb to hang them cafe style against the window? I'm planning to use sheer curtains to filter light and add a bit more privacy at night. I have my heart set on curtains, would rather not get blinds. Sorry about the glare in the photo. Thanks!!
