Need help choosing kitchen back splash

We are in the process of remodeling our kitchen, and we haven't been able to choose a back splash. We initially thought of white subway tile, but now we're wondering if that's too much white. Do you have any suggestions for colors or materials that will complement the white cabinets, blue-gray counter tops, and stainless steel appliances? Thanks!

You have almost unlimited choices with your beautiful kitchen. You can stay with the white subway but lay them in a herringbone pattern for interest for example
(hover to expand). Or any of the inspiration photo examples

First of all I gotta say, you have a gorgeous home and I love the color scheme. I would add some gray tiles with a green undertone to add some color

Go with a tile that is going to be a focal point. Small space so have some fun! A small glass and stainless tile with a pop of color. Subway could still work but add some interest.

The same grey that is in your bench top in a Subway tile. Lovely area. Keep it plain and simple and it will look elegant.

I would go with glass tiles using the same colors in the room. The tile stores are selling gorgeous accent tiles that use metal (stainless steel) to really give it that wow factor. Good luck!

Gray subways with white grout. I've seen this a lot, + it's quite striking + nicely classic at the same time.

What color countertop is that? I agree wit Kay...I love a grayish blue subway tile with a white grout! It stands out real nice...here is an example I have in my showroom...smaller design and going vertical but you get the idea...

^^ That's delightful -- the gray is very pale, + I see darker grout. Here is a photo of gray with white grout. Be sure + seal your grout!

You could look for a glass, marble, and silver foil combination.

I think a small pop of color , like blue, would be great in addition to a more neutral tone like pale gray and stainless.
