Is there a membrane under the shower floor? If so, how was it terminated with the concrete floor?

    A sloped concrete shower pan was poured over the depressed concrete slab. That shower pan and perimeter edges received a layer of red-guard waterproofing. Then an aluminum schluter strip was grouted in the edge perimeter to create the separation between the shower floor tile and the bathroom's finished concrete slab.
