Thermador flush placement

How can you set the range flush with the cabinets on each side? We are being told that the oven door needs to be clear for heat reasons. Are the cabinets to the sides protected?

Are the cabinets on each side completely flush with the front of the oven door in this kitchen? Our local retailers say that the maximum depth of the cabinets on either side of the range can only be 25 1/8 inches but this picture looks like the oven door is flush with the cabinets on each side. It looks like this recommendation comes from the Thermador literature.

The dark colored pull outs are pulled forward by several inches to meet the range depth.
