    hi,

    I have cats and want to get a new sofa, as well as slipcover some chairs I have. i especially like white slipcovers. what is a good fabric to look for when you have cats? mine to seem to like chenille

    I would say something with a tight, easily vacuumed weave like cotton twill. That always worked well when we had cats and now that we have very "sheddy" dogs. :-)
