ok so buffing would not be possible if the counter was regular laminate such as Formica. I am researching edges for Formica right now and do not want the square edge because of the lines that show.

Hello, I am the designer of this kitchen. Buffing out the seam is not possible on laminate countertops. If you want an edge without a seam on a laminate top I would recommend a waterfall, double radius, 180 wrap, or ogee edge.

thank you very much. I just learned from our contractor that her fabricator wont do Idealedge from Formica, but will do Wilsonart because it is a 1.5 inch edge and it can be seemless which is good. I do not want an edge like the 70'sor a seem in my corner!
