oh sorry, aparently I replied something random to this thread. the answer is a high quality epoxy. not an epoxy from home depot or anything though, that stuff is garbage and won't be able to handle flooring. I like to use cold cure epoxy. it will cure at 2℃, but it's pot life starts getting really low once you start mixing large batches. (the more you mix at a time, the faster it cures) I'd check out your local specialty woodworking shop for recommendations on an appropriate epoxy.
