We finished the basement with a bar area, the cabinet installer did not put the island in the designed spot so the wiring for the pendant lighting is off by about 8 inches. Hanging the lights there would mean they would hang over the person sitting at the island not over the island. Do we just cover them and forget it, pay electricion to move them or hang short pendants? Help!
