Our client made that vessel bowl. She owns Gerbe Glass in Lawrenceville (Pittsburgh) PA. She has a website gerbeglass.com and also a Facebook page. She started this career after she became an emptynester. She does amazing work! She has a studio that Prime 1 renovated as part of the Live work space project.

Thank you so much Casarina! The client had a lot of imput! They have a great sense of style. We found out this project is one of the finalist in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette Renovation Inspiration Contest! Keep your fingers crossed for us.

Can you lock that style of door?

That particular door did not have a lock on it! The clients leave it open and so when it is closed it is understood that it is occupied. They found those doors at Construction Junction but there are doors out there that do have a lock on it.

Hi puppucup09 - most doors like this that require a lock use a latch that is designed for a gate in a fence, although we do have several styles intended for sliding doors on our website: www.postframeaccessories.com/latches.html. Even a simple hook and eye latch would work.

The important thing to keep in mind is that the latch is installed so it is easy to operate as the offset nature of the door from the wall can make that difficult.

We also have hardware nearly identical to what was used here if you are looking for that as well.
