We have removed the large Pine Tree's from the front garden and also the gardenia hedge as it wasnt growing . We need to update the look of our home but need a low maintenance garden with a softening effect on the house . Would also welcome any idea's for a feature tree to replace the standard tree on the front lawn . It is a large home on a corner block and plants would have to tolerate heat and cold . We are in sydney australia and have extremes of heat and cold , such as frost . Any idea's would be apreciated .
