I really love this table..
How do you think it would look in a dining room that's painted a light gray? Paint color is Passive by Sherwin Williams
Thank you!

    Hi,

With the information you've given, I don'y know why it wouldn't work with that color.

    Best of luck

I think it would appear bland and dull -
The table is already a light grey - It needs contrast to stand out.

I'd select a darker or lighter color for the walls for that contrast.

    Thank you for the replies!
I'll post a photo of the empty room so that you can see the flooring too.

I too LOVE this table but don't love the price! I saw the one at Zgallerie and it looks really nice and half the price of the RH one. I also saw one at World market for even half the price of the Zgallerie one. Not sure if it looks too cheap. Anybody seen it? http://www.worldmarket.com/product/greyson-fixed-dining-table.do?sortby=ourPicks&from=fn I would also like to know your thoughts. My room is a light blue/grey as well. Mary, did you finish your room?

dawnmichie, have you received your table yet? I'm thinking about ordering and was curious about the RH quality.

I haven't received it yet, but I did go to the store and saw the table in-person. The quality was excellent. It is heavy-duty solid wood, and was sanded so it was smooth but still showed the character of the wood (knots and all). I get mine on Oct. 17...I'll post a picture when I do!

I have this table and I LOVE it. I am wondering about putting on a protecting coat as I am worried about stains and spilling.

I've heard wax is an option for wood tables, but I don't have the details.

I will look into that thanks! Any advice on how to get out a water mark. Spilled plain old water on a small part of the top :-(
