I think you need to go with it versus against it. I would change the pulls on the cabinetry to oil rubbed bronze, in a substantial shape. Not an expert on paint, but what if you went deeper in color, like a milk chocolate doing the ceiling at 75% of the paint color? I would paint the outlet covers as well. There is quite a jump in contrast from white to granite to paint. Is there under cabinet lighting? If not, put some in to reflect light off the granite. A plant in a copper, oil rubbed bronze, or black pot might brighten up the corner. Interested to read what others think.

I would replace the backsplash with a combination of color that would ease the transition from the cabinets and countertop. Something to let the eye flow and not be so shocked with the transition. Use like a muted stone to take away from the glossy countertops.

Yes go with it for now - a solid back splash is a nice thing. Switch out the hardware to bold dark brown; ditto for the faucets(least important). Replace the recepticals and cover plates with ones that are stainless steel. And stainless steel appliances will complete the look.

I would definitely get rid of any bright white in the kitchen with those countertops. If it were mine I would paint the cabinets darker to compliment the dark color in the granite, and a neutral wall color maybe a beige, something that coordinates with the lighter color in the granite. And get stainless appliances. And yes, a more subtle backsplash for sure. OR you could just get a new countertop instead of redoing everything else in the kitchen, ie the white appliances and white floor tile (is it warmer white or brighter white floor tile?)

I love the cabinets. Definitely change the knobs to bronze. Add a new window treatment same colour or tone as countertop. You will also need accessories.
