Can you please share the specs of the vent (material, dimensions) and where you purchased it or was it custom? Thx!

    That is a 18"x24" custom wood vent. We provided a detail for it as part of the construction documents for the house.
    It essentially has wood louvers set in a 5/4x4 jamb, a 2" wood sill, 2x4 trim with a chamfered 5/4x2 (flashed) cap, and screen behind the louvers. I prefer to use hardware cloth behind the screen to make it extra bug & varmint proof.
