Wonderful! What are the dimensions of this space?

Why, also, is it called pre fab?

Thanks for asking Susan! The gym is 31'x51'. We designed the "barn", which is the gym, but worked with a local prefab manufacturer to supply the building. They provided the exterior envelope: beams, wood roof, wall panels, custom windows. The gym floor is over a radiant heat concrete slab and was done by a different sub.

Thank you so much. We are building and I would like to do something very similar. Did you put HVAC into the building as well as the radiant floor? Have the clients been happy with the space? It is my favorite sport court on Houzz.

Windows and doors, are they a special impact glass or just tempered glass? brand? Beautiful Space!

We used tempered glass for this project. But there is actually a thin stainless steel mesh in front of windows where people or basketballs may hit them.

Yowzer this is beautiful and very in-line with a project we are just kicking off (adding a detached court to a historic home). Is the floor wood or something synthetic? Wonder specifically about the need to manage (or not) the humidity in there.

Thanks for the question Bo. This is an authentic gymnasium sprung wood floor. It is engineered to be able to park cars in the space as well. The humidity does need to be managed as the entire room is covered on all surfaces with wood. Good luck with your project!
