We bought it, and really loved the look and quality. The glass has a slightly greenish gray hue. We ended up returning it for these reasons: it was too large for our area, (a higher ceiling would have been better), the length adjustment would have been tedious for our skill level, and the main reason, was that the cabinets to each side behind it were filled with groupings of dishes, etc., and the multiple fixtures on the beautiful lamp made the area too packed with groupings of items. Too busy.

Just got this for our kitchen to replace a broken fixture. LOVE IT.

85 inches from the ceiling seems awfully low for a 12 foot ceiling, which is what is recommended. I am hoping that it is not too difficult to shorten the 85 inch wire.

Did you ever find out if the length of the Paxton pendant cords could be shortened? I'm trying to find out the same thing since I bought the 10 foot pendant for my 9 foot ceilings and they are way too long.
