How do you keep a cupboard door from opening too wide?

Cupboard door opens right into the new hanging light fixture...too late to rewire it. Any ides how to stop the door for opening too wide? We tried a chain but it did not work.

    Your Euro cup hinges can be purchased in a variety of opening types. 90 degrees and 110 degrees are the most common. 90 degrees is where the door is perpendicular to the cabinet. If this is still too much in conflict with your light fixture you have two options.     The second option is to lose the door and go with decorative open shelving.

    ...and pardon my French...but WTF happened to that door? Was it hinged improperly in the first place? Whodunnit and who do you need to call to get it fixed?
