Hi, yes, this is an IKEA sliding curtain rod system with hidden hardware. We modified the IKEA linen Aina curtain to attach to the hooks behind instead of the IKEA panels intended. This saved quite a bit from custom treatments. The rod system came in a matte aliminum color and was painted black.

Sorry, I'm still confused. So you used the curtain track? Mine will be 10 ft-not sure they make it in that width. Can I use their pleating hooks to achieve the same thing? I think they are called riktig curtain hook. They hook to the back of the panels.

Right, this is the new Aina curtain with the integrated back panel to accomodate the hooks. The previous model didn't have this special backing.

Ok. Thanks soo much. Any idea how many hooks needed per panel? Also, did you just use a spray primer and matte black paint in one for the rail? Sorry for all the questions and thank you for helping. I just hung pink aina in my daughters room and wish I hung them this way. I'll hang the white in my room this way. Are they easy to open and close?

14 hooks per panel and a black satin spray paint was used.
