Does the cat door solve cat litter tracking problems?

I clean our cat's litter box 2x daily but we are building now and I looking for some ingenious solutions to have cat litter/play areas that keep litter and smell hidden (with easy clean up and disposal of litter). Also, we have family and friends that are allergic to cats and it would be great to have them happy if I needed to keep them in a hidden area when they need to be for our allergy suffering friends. We are building an 8000 sq ft home, so we need multiple areas (that are quiet) for their litter use, as they do not like the sounds of washers/dryers/flushing toilets).
Any advice would be totally awesome!!!
Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your inquiry! Actually, what helps as well is the space on the other side in between the litter box and the cat door (see attached image). We would also recommend adding a special, rubberized "cat mat" that has raised bumps to collect the litter from the cat's feet, and which is placed just to the side of the litterbox. This is actually what we use at our home, anyway. Hope this info helps!

My brother and S.I.L have had raccoons in their kitchen at night.
Let's see. Cat door into garage then cat door into kitchen. I guess they were lucky it wasn't an opossum or armadillo?
