What is the tub made of? It might cost quite a bit to resurface it white, so you might consider sticking with offwhite for the fixtures and tile.

You might consider getting new wallpaper. There are such great graphic styles. That at least incorporates white and ivory, but could also have another color.

Or a gray and ivory





You might remove the mirror.

And get a frameless glass door to replace the sliding doors.

Thank you! I'm pretty sure the tub is porcelain or the type that can be painted but will double check. I love the white look for the fixtures - so much that I don't think I could purchase something off white. Not such a huge fan of wall paper so will check out the paint colors. Thanks for including the pics. The mirror will come down. Since this is the main bath on the first floor - I'm thinking I may want to get a vanity sink instead of a pedestal for added storage. A frameless glass door is a great idea! Thanks again!

Painting the upper wall will help but I feel you need more color than that. I recommend adding a colorful rug, towels and you can easily add glass shelves above the toilet for decorative accessories. I also suggest a furniture style vanity rather than a standard built-in vanity. So many great vanities out there to chose from. Have fun with it!

Replacing and resurfacing will cost you some money. I think you can do something using what you have: white and almond.

I would paint the walls almond to match the fixtures. That is your backdrop. Now find a drop dead gorgeous mirror, add beautiful towels, and lighting. (Posting this picture for the wall paint color with the sink and toilet. I am not recommending this mirror.) Then a piece of art on canvas for over the toilet wall. Stay with the silver tones for accents.

I would take out the shower doors and use a full height shower curtain. And replace the little cabinet and pedestal sink with a wall to wall vanity in 18" depth if space allows. The mirror can remain and then use MirrorMate framing around it.
