Did you have to do anything special to protect your concrete floor from the carpet tiles?

    this floor is not concrete !....it is forbo marmoleum, much easier on the legs in a kitchen, soft, natural, forgiving, and reasonably priced ! putting flor tiles on top of any flooring you risk the discolouring of the floor as the floor around it ages and the floor underneath the flor tiles doesn't.......
