Need ideas to hide cord from mantle to picture lamp

I have a large picture over a stone mantle which is lit by an attached lamp. The lamp is connected to the outlet which is on the top of my mantle. I can hid the cord using "greenery" , but I'd like to have a "less is more" mantle. This picture is priceless, and I love the look of it when it is lit at night.
