Light cabinets with white appliances is fine. It's when they contrast against darker woods that the don't look so hot.

Things will all swing back around to white appliances being the hot new items so stick with what you have! Who wants cookie-cutter, herd instinct, décor anyway? Manufacturers will basically abandon what they are pushing now and go back to basics to get everyone to think they need the newest craze in their homes - which will probably be white appliances. As things stand, you are ahead of the game!

White is coming back in style so don't despair!

There are some awesome white appliances coming on the market so don't get too worried. I must admit I like them best with very light cabinets or even white or pale gray.

If white kitchen appliances bother you a bit, you can "hide" them under larger kitchen cabinets, which are an excellent design tool that makes your kitchen blend with the rest of the living space more seamlessly. Some homeowners prefer to save money on stainless steel appliances and hide less sophisticated ones under the same line of sleek cabinetry.

You can cover it with large abstract original art. Wait------that's another poster's line.

Decopauge rice paper on the fridge. Copper leaf it. Paint a mural on it. If yu don't like white, nothing says to keep it white--except underneath whatever treatment you devise for it.
