Will the ottomans be used as coffee tables? Lamps? Area rug?

I think lamps could really soften the area. Since you said that you are getting blue beige curtains, here are a few ideas for you:

A round coffee table to echo the DR mirror wold be a better choice. Can the hassock order be cancelled?

I love the suggestions so far, so the ottoman can't be cancelled it's actually going to be delivered in a few weeks. it's square leather cocktail type in a lead/metallic color with hammered nails look. I am trying to make this a warmer put together room. Below are the curtains. I am struggling with the left and right corners, the mirror chest is not big enough and the round table isn't either that corner I'd abt 27 inchesx 34 on other end. Here are other angles and what is on opposing corner (blue chair with other mirror cabinet) in next post are curtains

For chair in corner, a floor lamp behind the chair, an art on the wall and a table shorter than the mirrored chest.

how about the two corner with big black mirror chest and other with round table? Both items can be relocated to other rooms.

Is the black chest the same height as the round table?

tancalgal, no it's actually shorter but wider it's 24*24*24. I originally placed it in the corner between the two sofas and it looked bleh, it is a cool functional piece but just lost all it's wow in that corner so I moved it to other corner and put an existing side table in its place just to feel it out for shape and style and it looked better, but I feel I can do better with the spaces. the room will get some color but even when that comes it still doesnt have a put together look.

warner thanks for the tips on lamps I was getting there too, just figuring out what those will go on right now. I love the ikat? designs at least that's what that print is called everywhere I find it but hubby hates it. trying to see if I go for a royal dutch blue pattern or contemporary circles to match the curtains. can they be mixed? I just don't know...

I'd try the square trunk close to one of the sofas. Either the sofa near the dining room or the sofa where it is. Style attractively as a nice area for a drink or book. That corner can always be filled later with a large plant or a folding screen (either will add height to the room).

No one is ever done! LR area rug should harmonize with the DR rug. Photo of DR rug?

My first impression earlier was that the DR rug was skimpy since a chair was falling off of it. Have you tried it in the living room?

Just joining and haven't read every comment, but I love the new drapes. The furniture and lamp are nice too. I think the round mirror is hung a bit high. I'm wondering if you could pull the accent chair a bit more into the room and maybe place a round garden stool (this one is from Z Gallerie) next to it for a table. The little gray chest (with x's) doesn't make any sense in that spot. I agree the dining room rug is too small so maybe try it in the living room. The dining room rug needs to be 4' wider and 4' longer than the table. Very nice home!

I don't know how this will come out, but you can get an idea of what a lighter rug will do for your space.

Lovely curtains and table lamp! Only one lamp? Will you be getting another to sit either beside the chair or get another side table beside the sofa? Or use the chest which looks about the same height as the table? IMO the chaise sticks out.

I can see rows of pictures over the sofa. Not as many perhaps a 2x3 or 2x4? See example:

Or perhaps a wall art on the wall instead of a picture. You can get them in all colours to match your other wall or black to match the curtains. The " live laugh love" stickers look fab x

thanks everyone so the dining room rug is a 8*11 I think but the table had the extension leaf in it, I just took it out and will send updated pictures where it finally fits but I'll post updated pics to get opinion when I am home again, not sure I have all 4 ft on each side but I'll check. The chest is odd in that space, too high right? I might give it use elsewhere.

Nancy that last piece you posted in blue is great, where did u find it? The pattern of rug not sure but shade is good.

I'd choose a neutral area rug.
