I just redid the dining room Attached) so the china is a leftover from that room. I have an office, game room, media room, adjacent great room and breakfast nook. It's listed as a sunroom on the builder's plan but we added the screened porch which made the need for a sunroom redundant. I'll attach the first floor print. I just repainted in BM Manchester Tan. Draperies are barkcloth which I had custom made two years ago and I plan to keep. Remaining furnishings are traditional.

Thanks so much for your input. I'm at a loss....

    Your dining room looks awesome!

Wow, I'm at a bit of a loss because you don't seem to NEED any more space for different uses, and the space between the breakfast nook and the sunroom is meant to be a pass-through to outside, from what I see in the plans.

The wall could be covered in built-ins with a desk in the center as an extension of the breakfast nook - perhaps a place to keep your cookbooks, for homework, projects, household kind of tasks, bookshelves, etc?

Thanks so much for your input, Becky. We do have a cookbook area/desk in the kitchen. This area has been a challenge since we built! It was great for the Christmas tree until we moved the china cabinet over there. As much as I hate to, I think I may have to put the cab on CL and move on. It's become such an obstacle!!

    Have a great day!
