That is too tall for a 96" ceiling height. The height on chandeliers is usually from the very bottom, up to the top of the decorative part, not counting any chain.
At 96" ceilings, if you deduct the height of the chandelier, this leaves you with just 61" from the floor to the bottom of the fixture.
Deduct the 30" height of the table, and you're left with a chandelier that would be 31" from the table to the bottom of the chandelier, with zero "breathing room" at the top for some chain.
I would change the chandelier, as it will feel squished. (Unless the 35" overall height includes those long dangly pendants.....in which case you MAY have a wee bit of play, but truly, I think it will be tight.)

If the chandelier hangs 35" from the 8 foot ceiling, then the bottom of the chandelier will be at 5 feet from the floor.

You didn't say if you are hanging it over a dining room table or if you were putting it in the middle of the room.............

I am going to guess that it is going to be over a table...........In that case........it should work.
