I want to put 10 light french doors in my house from foyer into formal living room. I plan to paint them white. I was priced $750 for (2) 3 ft doors with dummy knobs in pine not primed. Then another company priced me $450 for same type of doors already primed. Why is there such a price difference and does it really matter how much the doors are if I am going to paint them. Meaning the wood quality is not huge issue because they wont be stained or anything. Is a door a door especially since they are interior with no mechanisms (hardware).
