How far does the counter overhand on this bar?

    The deepest overhang is 15". The mesquite top is reinforced underneath with a 3/4" thick underlayment of baltic birch plywood. This was inset into the mesquite, for a total thickness of 1 1/4". It is very solid. The cherry "skirt" around the edge of the countertop is decorative, not structural.

    What is the overhang of the top countertop around the sink area? Is there an industry standard for this or did you pick/specify the amount?

    The bar stools are vintage 60's stools, they were found on E-bay.
