Removing stucco ceiling

I was just wondering if you had any advice on how to remove a stucco ceiling? It is a popcorn stucco.

This is very tideous messy job to do! I just recently removed all the popcorn off our roof. It comes off super easy with a spray bottle and a scrapper. There's tons of youtube videos on it. Just spray and scrape, spray and scrape. If it's been painted over, it's going to be ten-fold the work. Painted over popcorn is very hard to remove. If your home is built before the 1980's I would get a scraping tested for asbestos as that's a common ingredient in
older homes.
