Do legs fit underneath island?

This probably sounds like a silly question...when someone is sitting at the island does the top of their leg touch the bottom of the island countertop/wood frame? I'm curious if it allows enough height for the leg (not depth where your knees and feet kick). Does that make sense?

    It's not a silly question at all. It's something every designer should think about when designing a kitchen. It does look pretty close in the photo but I think it's because of the angle and height of the photo. There are standards for the height of a stool in relation to the height of the countertop. The stools are lower in the middle on these stools, so there is definitely enough room for leg clearance in this design.

    what is the length from where the cabinet ends to the end of counter ?

    The length is 15" which is the recommended legroom for counter stool under a 36" high countertop.
