Pearlescent walls.....

Need some advice on painting my walls.... I am wanting to achieve a WHITE pearlescent/iridescent effect. All of the metallic glaze postings seem to say using white as a base color is a disaster. Is there any way or product that will give white appearance with glimmers of violet/blue iridescent shimmer? I've used the BM pearl finish paint but that is not iridescent at all. Help!

Proceed by golden makes a product that wii produce that desired effect.

I am not sure but I think you would need to put an irridescent additive to your paint to achieve that effect. Try looking into websites that sell the bags. They may be mostly used for detailing cars but I don't think the leap would be too much if the application is for walls. Some craft stores may sell irridescence by the bag and you just add it to your paint.

This the type finish we do on a regular basis. I must tell you for a wall to look like the gas tank there will be extensive prep work required to smooth the walls.

Thanks for the suggestions. Sorry, I should have attached a photo.... This is what I have in mind, and I'm OK if some wall imperfections show through. Will the Proceed product get me anywhere near this?
