On that first page of 8, scroll down to the last one, with the blue door. That's a nice color with the brick, although I haven't seen the sides and back of your home to get a complete idea on how a blue would look.

The rest of the images as I'm paging through don't all seem to show red brick trim, alas. Hmm.

I find it to be quite intriguing, and would give your home a completely new look. Especially on the sides and back, where the blue will be the dominant color. And yes, it could work with a tan garage door.

Andree has great advice! Check our red brick house exteriors on this website - there is sure to be a combination to please you. Just be aware that some colors for the body of the house are more appropriate for a single story ranch, so try to find those in your search. Some colors on large homes do not translate well to the horizontal mass of the ranch style (my favorite.). The house should feel connected to the land, not sitting on top of it.

Simple black shutters can't go wrong.

Paint that screen door while you are at it.
