Grill and griddle?

Can you buy the griddle and also buy a grill insert so you could switch them out? I am shopping for a remodel. Thank you!

You can find the information you need in a couple of different ways depending on how you are using Houzz. If you are using a computer, click the green 'more info' link. If you are using the app, tap on the photo. Either way you should see a store or vendor link. You should be able to find additional information by following that link.

No with the Wolf 36" range you select either a grill or a griddle they are not interchangeable.

I'd get the grill and a 7 gauge aluminum pan to use as a griddle across 2 burners .

I've had my Wolf range for almost 12 years and I have the grill and griddle. The grill much less functional (also just doesn't taste like a BBQ) than the griddle. If I had to choose again, I would go with a 6 burner with just a griddle or 4 burner a larger griddle. It is amazing to have a real griddle as opposed to using an aluminum overlay. Nothing like using what a real cookhouse has!

I posted this comment from earlier this year. I still agree with the functionality aspects of choosing the griddle, but perhaps my choices are not the norm.

After using the griddle several times per month for 14 years a basic wear and tear feature (gas valve) of the griddle broke. Keep in mind: It was a $450 repair. Amortized, probably still not a bad deal. Oh how we love this griddle though!!
