I'm struggling a bit with what to do with the back yard on our new house. The house is brick but the wood siding on the garage has been repainted a few times without being stripped and as a result it's all peeling off. It seems very expensive to have paint stripped so I am thinking about having the siding removed completely and new siding installed instead, with all the soffits and facias replaced at the same time. Want to make our back yard a real little oasis. What do you guys think about white hardie board for the garage?
