No shutters. They don't really fit the style of the house. Gray shingles are a classic, so either powerwash what you have if they're in good shape or stain them in weathered gray. Look at the photo below--gray, blue trim, mustard door--gorgeous.

For landscaping, get advice from a local garden center on how to fill the beds in front of your house with a native mix of grasses, bushes, and perennial flowering plans. You have such a small space in front think about a cottage garden with mulched paths instead of the bit of lawn you have.

Keep in mind your big picture windows when you think of curb appeal. Some tall plants and sculptures at the window and great lighting inside can add a ton to curb appeal.
