We're considering staining our oak floors a dark brown, but not quite ebonizing them (more dark walnut than black). We're looking to replace the doors and stain them to match. In looking for a more contemporary look, we're considering white trim on white walls with a single accent wall. The same white looked to stark for us, so we grayed the walls down just a bit to add some subtle contrast between trim and walls. Thoughts? (In this rendering, the floor and doors are a different hue, and we hope to be able to keep them closer together)
