Burner and Air question.

AIR: Does this need to have open doors? I'm looking to put a log set in an existing wood burning fireplace with glass door and leave the doors shut. (only small amount of air from vents would feed the fire)

Burner: so It looks like I would need to buy the burner with this? Is that correct?

yes its better to have doors open. per code. also gas logs usually come in two boxes one for logs and one that has burner, sand, embers and sometimes lava rock..I use RH Peterson brand....
