Looks like the room is simple. Any color could be used for accent. I would go with a chocolate. If this seems too dark for your taste, then pick your favorite color.

A large striking painting with blue in it above the bed might just do the trick instead. I can see a beach scene.

I love the opportunity to accessorize with color in the absence of background color. Try it you may be amazed and if not, its just paint!

I also think a blue would be nice - maybe pull a blue from the paintings above the bed. I would also add some wall sconces - you can do a plug-in without having to add the expense of extra electrical.

I think the white-on-white could work, if the bedding was also white. But, it isn't and your bedding is too pretty to change….

I also disagree about a blue wall, because the bed frame is so narrow. I don't think it would create enough of a contrast against a blue wall to break up the blue-on-blue of bedding against wall….

So, my suggestion would be to paint the wall gray. Gray would work well with the whisper white other walls and I think it would be a nice contrast with your pretty bedding. Not a dark gray. Not a muddy greige. A nice medium light gray...

Your room is very fresh & pretty!
I love the wall sconce idea for lighting especially in a darker finish, however I think that you would be doing a disservice to the room by choosing blue as your accent wall color…it would detract from your beautiful bedding ensemble.
A soft, contrasting color would be my recommendation first because the room is not very large (darker colors will make that wall look smaller), & 2nd because it will highlight the bedding & furnishings.
Yellows are a great compliment to blues, so try Benjamin Moore HC-2 (I buy Aura because of its durability & coverage). It's soft with a hint of green….a lovely color I've used many times in clients homes.
