Thank you above comments/ideas... For the first comment, I am a percussionist musician so I really open just want music to sort scream in the bathroom. My favorite genre is gospel, no favorite artist in all the other genres .

What's a good budget to spend on this amount of space of a bathroom w/ the Theme I'm going for?

Ahh...my son is a percussionist and I have been looking for art for his new home with a music theme...hard for me to find something percussionist related...

I would find a drum at a thrift store or online that is tall enough to use a stool for drying your feet. I would also try to find an instrument that has a long handle, like a guitar or ? that can be used as a towel bar. Music notes of course can be used as display in art or towels and the like. I think I would mount some favorite sheet music in turquoise and purple frames as art.

Get creative with how you could use some parts of the instruments that you find that may be broken. Incorporate in a collage artwork for a wall.

What a great idea! How about taking sheet music and using instead of wallpaper?

Check out allposters.com and look at the poster called "Stroking the Keys" by Alfred Gockel. It has a Picasso-esque feel with some of the colors you mentioned in it and a really cool vibe with a happy feel. Allposters.com often has sales. Get a simple frame from a place like Ikea and hang over your towel bar. Use a Command hook to hang it so as not to put a hole in the wall. For a lively feel pick a couple colors from the pictures for your towels. Layer them over each other (e.g. tourquoise over purple) . Look for a rug that takes a color from the artwork. Target has some with great fun prints that are indoor/outdoor fabric that would be good for a bathroom's moisture. If you find one you like and it's too big, you can make it smaller. Look online for DIY's to do that. You could also find old instruments that artistically appeal to you and hang them on the wall in a grouping or where ever you may have some wall space (e.g. a pair of drum sticks, cymbals, etc.). If you have the space, an old conga drum next to the tub could hold extra folded towels. Change out shower curtain to one with a fun pattern, keeping in mind to compliment, not compete with, the rug and picture. Have fun!

Ahseytic Tye, you have a ton of great ideas here! I love the concept of a music themed bathroom. Since you're renting, definitely go for items that will add pizzaz, but will be easily removable when needed.

A shower curtain is another way to bring in a lot of color. Cafe Press has hundreds of interesting music curtains with lots of color, you just have to find one you like. ( http://www.cafepress.com/+music+shower-curtains) If you chose a statement shower curtain, that could act as the "artwork" for your bathroom and add a lot of character.

Or if you're on a low budget, find an inexpensive white shower curtain and paint your own designs on with fabric paint. Stencils are a great way to do this, and you can make your own by printing out a design on cardstock, and cutting out what you would like painted on the curtain. You could even paint your design on in black and tie dye the curtain teal and purple.

I think it's a great idea to incorporate actual musical instruments. You could use some of your percussion pieces as decor and switch them out as you need to. Display a cowbell and some drumsticks on a shelf or countertop, or find a fun music-themed coffee mug ( http://www.zazzle.com/kokopelli_mugs-168739054225557401) to use as a toothbrush cup and stick a set of drumsticks or mallets in there. Again, you could even paint your own toothbrush cup to fit your colors and theme at a pottery shop. Just be creative!

For the living room and bedroom, contemporary furniture and accents will go a long way toward developing your style. Again, if you're on a budget, consider IKEA. They have fairly modern pieces at a great price.

Speaking of mugs - my passion is music, and I also collect thrift store frogs, so these little guys were a satisfying find. They would like to live in the bathroom with my new-to-me shower curtain, but no surface for them. Now my shower songs occasionally devolve into a croaking crescendo.

To conserve floor space, you could place a dresser in the closet, You can add shelves to use the space more efficiently. Drawer bins can stack nicely for you if you can't add shelving.

Ahseytic Tye, thank you for the compliment! LB Interiors is right about your closet. You would benefit hugely from some shelving and storage systems. Places like Ikea, Target, and Bed Bath and Beyond have lots of closet systems to choose from. Find what pieces work for you and your closet needs.

You'll want to get as many of those shoes and accessories up off the floor as possible. A lot of times, getting things of the floor and maximizing your shelf storage will go a long way. There are many types of shoe racks (low to the ground, built in shelving, hanging shoe storage). It seems like you've done a good job at trying to use your shelving by stacking boxes. That's a great start, but sometimes it get tricky to reach boxes at the bottom of the stack. On the living / dining area, you can definitely find a wine stand and dining room table to fit your space. Search for what you like, post photos and sizes, and then pros can help you figure out where to place them. There are all sorts of wine racks. They have plenty that attach to the wall, if you really need to keep your floor space open.

Wow thank you great feed back! I'm really not sure what type I like & being that I'm not a true wine drink it's really just for the look and guest if I have over lol... Do u have an example of they kind you stated that can be placed on the wall? Or any samples to complement my modern/ complimentary look?

There are so many styles of wine racks, so if you don't like these feel free to search around. You can find them just about anywhere - I've bought some off Amazon.com even.

Anyway, here are some funky, modern wall-mounted racks that will definitely add interest to a room. If you're not a big wine drinker, I would opt for a rack that holds fewer bottles. You don't want a rack that needs 10-20 bottles to look used, if you never plan on drinking them.
