Iron-rich well water

We have lots of iron in our water that is not completely taken out with our water system....that would be VERY expensive. I am redoing my bathrooms, and need some ideas for the shower walls. Would love tile, but the grout will take up the iron, right? Even our solid surface tub surround stains without diligent work. Swan stone?

I think any stone product would absorb the iron. That's a tough one. I would go a cheaper alternative (ceramic maybe) in a larger tile and darker. With iron you will have to replace often. I have marble and have had it for two years and it absorbs water and is in need of replacement already and I don't have iron.
