No need to make any special effort for the holiday here, as rabbits are abundant in my home, having inherited and expanded upon my mother's collection. Our home is the obvious choice for Easter gatherings, although I miss having house rabbits, who were my constant companions for twenty years before the dear crazy dog.

I fill the house with Easter lilies and bake hot cross buns. When my kids were small the house was decorated with their art. Now it's my grandkid's art. And we're back to hunting Easter Eggs!

Never Easter since I'm Jewish :-), but lambs, matzoh, azaleas, daffodils, Seder plates, and even some “playful plague symbols” for our (southern) Passover-- Absolutely. Decorating for Jewish holidays takes alot of creativity (since items aren't readily available), but is worth the effort.

No, we don't. Sometimes, if the weather is good, we have a picnic. We call it rolly-egg day! We used to paint and decorate hard boiled eggs then roll them down a hill and then eat them. I think it was the religious significance of the stone at the cave were jesus lay.

I live in Thailand and the Thai's don't celebrate Easter, but I always make a point in celebrating it with lots of decoration , Easter egg hunt ( although the chocolate tents to melt very fast ) and a lovely Easter lunch :)

I love Easter! I put out my ceramic bunnies on the entry table and decorate each dinner table with a centerpiece. I change it up every year, but I usually get my glass cake plates, fill them with Easter grass and place all kind of Sees's and other wrapped candy on top. It looks really cute with a chocolate foil wrapped bunny in the middle.

This year I bought some pastel-painted mason jars and I will fill them with fresh flowers (tulips, daffodils, etc).

I also started collecting Glassybaby candles, so I use those too!

I usually fill a jar with Jelly Beans ,pick a branch from the tree and hang plastic Easter eggs from it ,now its my grandson that does the decorating.

I have a basket of Russian painted wood eggs which I put out. We use them for easter hunts, too. That way if not all the eggs are found, it's not a big worry.

Table is set like this and then we use clear glass plates.

In Malta we call these "Figolli" it is sweet pastry filled with marzipan and decorated

Yes, in Greece we do celebrate too! Not as much as during Christmas though. Some things in my house:

I had a great-aunt that was way ahead of her time in creativity. She did an Easter egg tree one year I will never forget. It was so beautiful. Real eggs that were blown and dipped in different glitters and then put on branches with ribbons and flowers. She also bought us sugar eggs with little spring scenes inside and fabulous Easter baskets. We always went to church and had Easter bonnets and new clothes. Even wore little white gloves. Ahhh. Those were fun times.

I do not go to those extremes but do put out my collected rabbits that look old and some favorite old Easter cards and postcards that I display during the Easter season.

I set out daffodils, tulips & various potted bulbs, according to the color scheme chosen. Or I pick a color scheme depending on the flowers I find. I decorate the table with beautiful candies I find traveling around Vermont to general stores & candy shops. I may fill very small & delicate antique glasses with candies in the colors of the day &/or sprinkle them on the tablecloth. I've put a tiny cellophane wrapped dark chocolate bunny (Lake Champlain Chocolates) tied in a sweet ribbon on each plate. Of course I coordinate the colors of the candles with the spring theme. This year, thinking of our health, we're forgoing any candy. Our Easter is never religious, but a celebration of spring's arrival, it's animals & flowers. We set the table in our good china, tiny Beatrix Potter & other figurines and some vintage nesting eggs with whimsical illustrations of ducks, chicks, robins, etc. We're vegan & celebrate Easter by celebrating life!

I do enjoy decorating for Easter. I change my china cabinet, kitchen shelf decor, coffee table, front door wreath. I love to tablescape if I am hosting Easter brunch or dinner.

Nothing crazy really, since I'm not so much into decoration, but flowers are all over the place. Since it is still to cold over here to have flowers outside we bring them in.

I celebrated Persian New Year this year with my own version of a sofreye haft-sin, a display commemorating rebirth and life that is supposed to include seven items that start with the letter "s." I went with seven meaningful personal items (French literature, a friendship theme decanter) in addition to some traditional things (stylized goldfish, coins, mirror).

Yep. We always blow out our eggs for 1 month before Easter and then decorate them to hang in a tree outside. Very European and charming. I also have a collection of hand-painted eggs from various countries that I hang inside.

As a designer, I decorate for every season. What a great time to bring in colors you wouldn't usually use and make your guests feel warm and excited for the season!

I was inspired by some friends that decorate their hallway and waiting room (complimentary therapists), each Easter. This spot in my kitchen is perfect for display. The colours of the eggs are so fresh and vibrant that you cant help but feel lifted whenever you walk into the room. I'll be using this tree every year from now on!

Yes, definitely! We host a huge Easter egg hunt for our kids' friends (which also has several Jewish friends in attendance, too)... and so we decorate the house and whatever the yard can handle in Vermont's Easter weather!

Guys, I think we should post a dilemma on Houzz about those two niches behind me. I just don't know what to do with them. I think the symmetrical Holy Grail look we have going on is so matchy matchy.
