Who did the exposed aggregate walkways and pool decking? Is it cool enough to walk on in summer?

My company rented this place for two days in the middle of July last year. From my own personal experience, it is not cool enough to walk on in the summer. Flip flops or sandals required.

The aggregate was already in place before we did the remodel and interiors. It is like any other material on patio surfaces in Arizona - things get hot - not unlike the sand on the beach on a very hot day!
