Board and Batten wall treatment

Doing a board and batten treatment. Like the look it may also help hide some of the nail pops in the drywall. Will post the finished product. Decided on the narrower trim instead of the wider boards.

- 12 years agoWe Put the battens right on top of the drywall. I used a spacer which saves time rather than measuring. I prepainted the wood before putting it on the wall. It saves a lot of time. Figure out the spacing ahead of time so as to avoid light switches and plugs. I went with thinner strips than my bottom casing. I used some glue and the Brad Nailer was relatively easy
