I would like curtains and carpet

I'd like to see a simple tone on tone striped drape in a linen color and a traditional rug in the same colors or a lighter blue. To modernize it I'd like a trellis patterned rug in a lighter blue and creme and mix patterns and tones of blues and greens.

Thank you for your input. Not sure if I understand the trellis pattern rug idea however , I love the idea of tone on tone.

Add a rug in light gray tone, with a very small print in the flower design from bedding. Google area rugs and see, sorry I don't have time to upload pics.overstock.com has some.

Here's another view of the room. I have a blue gray color on the walls. I think a grayish color is a great idea for carpet. should i repeat the pattern of the bed some other place in the room.? There are four windows that in the bedroom . I 'll have a photo soon of the windows

This is the bathroom door.

Take the pillow sham to the paint store and have them match the grey to it ,I love the door the leads to the bathroom keep the white trim going , if you could find panels in the same fabric for the windows it would b great ,

All of the comments are helpful, I would advice on the rugs. Am I in the right direction or should i look at blue trellis rugs ?

you are o the right direction with the colours but stick with Asian patterns.,

How about a pewter sisal rug??

I would think that sisal is a bit rough on bare feet .

I incline to agree the sisal would be a bit rough, but I might have to go with another idea the surya bombay which would work beautifully, is out of stock in the larger sizes the biggest is 5x8. too small for a king bed, would you happen to know another vendor. or another similiar idea. I am a recently widowed and would like to have a feminine feel. Thank you all for your inspirtation.

if that is the bedding by Ralph Lauren in navy and khaki, off white and navy stripes look great as drapes. Also natural linen works well.

I recently did a guest room in that bedding and we used a navy solid rug and accented with some striped pillows and off white drapes

Plaids and stripes go with any pattern. Pick colors from your floral, vary the scale, and it will be lovely.
