Need help picking a floor for my small cottage home...I have unfinished oak stair treads that will be finished upon completion of new floors. Plan to put the same flooring in living room, kitchen, entry and 2 bedrooms...I have rustic maple cabinets and white pine beams...Do I go dark, or light. Do I go character or rustic? Any advice will be appreciated...Attached pics
