I am designing a custom kitchen. It's very small, but functional in a passive solar home. The sink is a wall hung retro look with high backsplash and drainboard on the left side. I will hang a curtain underneath. I will have open shelves instead of upper cabinets. The stove is a gas stove with stainless front and obviously a black top. The fridge also a stainless. Floors are concrete with an earth tone finish. The cabinets and counters will be custom from black walnut we took down from the property. I am intending a rustic farmhouse look. I've picked out a sink faucet that is called Tuscan brass living finish (appears bronze in color). It mounts to the backsplash.
My question is this; should I be choosing a black finish on the shelf brackets and simple black drawer/cabinet pulls or could I mix it up with some black and some bronze/rust color?
