My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
I have a question about the edging around the window in this photo - beautiful. Did you use factory cut edging, a bullnose of schulter. We are doing something similiar and trying to figure out the best approach.
Thanks for the compliment. The porcelain wall tile we used on the walls and around the window has through-body color, so my tile installer slightly eased the edges of them on site. Heres a snapshot of the niche which shows a close-up of a similar tile detail we used around the window.
If the tile you're considering doesnt have through-body color, then a coordinating Schluter strip could look great. Generally speaking we do not use the factory edge on any tile, as it can have an inconsistent appearance. Not something you'd want to find out mid-way through the install :)
